I hope that didn't come anywhere near you face when it came off! (Safety glasses!) It may also not have been the right tool for the job. 6 gauge is pretty heft, isn't it?
Well it is hefty-- I was grooving it a little at a time-- but I still think that my Lindstroms-- should I have dared abuse them in that manner would have withstood it:) Those things were a gift and they are the cheapest tools I've ever used . . . No safties-- but I do wear glasses . . . it hit me in the neck . . . yeah it wasn't brilliant:)
